Let's say during period one I noticed that 6 students didn't turn in their home work. Wouldn't it be nice to click next to those students/parents and send a message letting them know their son/daughter did not turn in their homework?

When I have sent some of my messages, sometimes parents/students have a question about it.

I am going to try this with all of my staff members as an building principal. I think you should add staff as an option along with parents and students.

I'm a teacher who has a class website. I post all my homework, test, quizzes, etc. on a class website calendar that I run through my Gmail calendars. It would be simply wonderful to cut out the middle man so to speak and have a direct pipeline from my Google calendar to my remind101 students.

one on one texting - being able to click on a student's name or icon and then being able to directly text that one student without having to send a mass text.

allow replies - allow students/parents to respond back to sent texts so I know they received the test.

currently previously sent texts show up as a chronological list. It would be great to have the date sent included for documentation (ie- teacher can respond: I sent a remind101 test on 11/25 at 3:00pm changing that assignment.....).

Maybe I am missing something, but I would like to send the same message to my students every Thursday. Is there a way to set up the scheduler to repeat events?

I don't want 100 replys back esp when some will just be "ok". They can email on the school website if there is a question or wait til the morning.

Create a widget that I can add to my class website showing how to sign up to receive texts. Or you could even allow students to enter their phone number there on the widget to sign up.

Let teachers send polls to their students with pre-selected answer options or open-ended.

Be able to turn off or on replys to text messages. I dont want to get 150 replys. This is to remind people, its not to have a conversation. Especially with high school students. Some parents dont want you talking with their kids on their personal phones. This is a great tool to protect you from law suits.

Allow you to send messages to only a subset of subscribers to a given class or set of classes. (Most likely use: to contact students/parents who have not turned in X, etc.)

I would love a link to look at only reminders scheduled to go out in the future, in case I need to change dates.

Sometimes in the process of getting information home, parents may never get the instructions for signing up. What about if you have the ability to add your parents to a group so they can then reply that they would like to sign up.

There are times when I would like to only text 2-3 people as a reminder. Can you make this option available?

would it be possible to have a place on your site where you could look at all of the reminders in one place for the month and scroll between months. A calendar link set up similar to google calendar. To be sure that I haven't duplicated or forgotten important reminders.
